Endocrine disruptors

Corn is a known endocrine disruptor, and the effects on humans who ingest as much corn as the normal American citizen ingests are chiefly unknown.

However, recently the EPA has decided to evaluate the endocrine disrupting properties of the chemicals found in commonly used pesticides (many of which are also used on corn...to the detriment of the aquatic wildlife nearby). Here's hoping that studies on corn and it's potential effect on humans, through allergy or hormonal disruption, is next!
